Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 October 2026 · These terms apply to the Kamao website, brand dashboard, and mobile apps listed on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using Kamao, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Kamao is a campaign platform operated by Aayu Softtech . Brands publish campaigns. Creators may join open campaigns, submit user-generated content (UGC) or other qualifying activity according to campaign rules, and may receive rewards into an in-app wallet, then request withdrawal through supported payout rails (for example Khalti in Nepal).

Features, currencies, platforms, and age gates are configured by the operator and may differ by tenant. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of Nepal (or your place of residence if stricter).
• If a minimum age is shown at sign-up, you must meet it and confirm it.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure.
• One person or organisation should not create accounts to evade limits, bans, or campaign caps.
• Brand / launcher accounts may be limited to the brand memberships permitted by the product.

3. Creator rules

• Follow each campaign’s brief, required mentions, hashtags, platforms, and any paid-partnership disclosure (including any caption policy such as a required tag and #ad when configured).
• Submit only content you have the right to post. Do not impersonate others or use misleading engagement.
• Connect only social accounts you control. We may reject or claw back rewards if a post is ineligible, deleted too early, private, or fraudulent.
• Purchase-proof, if required, must be genuine.
• Rewards are not guaranteed until a submission is approved under campaign rules and wallet credit is recorded.

4. Brand rules

• Campaigns must be lawful, including advertising and consumer-protection rules in the markets you target.
• Fund campaign wallets as required. We are not a bank; brand balances are campaign credits on the platform.
• Review submissions in good faith. Do not use the platform to harvest creator data for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis.

5. Content licence

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Kamao and the relevant brand a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display campaign submissions and related metrics for operating the campaign, paying rewards, and showing public galleries or marketing of the platform (for example a UGC mosaic), unless a campaign states a narrower licence. You are responsible for the content you publish on third-party networks.

6. Wallet, payouts, and taxes

Wallet balances are platform records of rewards, not stored-value e-money issued as a bank deposit. Withdrawals are requested in-app and completed through the configured rail; processing times depend on that provider and on staff or automated checks. We may delay, reverse, or refuse payouts that appear fraudulent, in error, or in breach of these terms.

You are responsible for any taxes on rewards. Pending or unwithdrawn balances may be forfeited if you delete your account without completing a withdrawal, except where law requires otherwise.

7. Acceptable use

You must not: break the law; upload malware; scrape the service; interfere with other users; post hate, sexual content involving minors, or illegal content; manipulate metrics; or attempt unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Third-party services

Instagram, TikTok, Khalti, app stores, and similar services are independent. Their terms apply when you use them. Outages or policy changes on those services can affect Kamao features (for example post verification).

9. Intellectual property

The Kamao name, app, and software are owned by Aayu Softtech or its licensors. You may not copy or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law allows.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that a particular campaign will be profitable. To the maximum extent permitted by Nepal law, Aayusofttech Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of NPR 5,000 or the platform fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including fraud).

11. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account and associated personal data, submit a request at /delete-account (the same URL used for Google Play and App Store data-deletion). We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention of financial and fraud records. We may suspend or close accounts for breach, inactivity, or to protect users or the platform.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, except where law requires explicit consent.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Courts in Nepal have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may have mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
